James joined our rapidly growing mVentures team to lead Addison Lee’s commitment to develop and deploy our premium AV ride-sharing service in the heart of London (ServCity). 

Having previously worked on several autonomous vehicle trials in London and Oxford, James brings real-world experience in terms of preparing for and deploying public passenger trials in controlled environments. 

A key member of the GATEway and DRIVEN project teams that delivered Europe’s first autonomous passenger and goods trials in the City of London with Ocado and a fleet deployment of M1 autonomous vehicles operating at SAE level 4 between Oxford to London, he has a wealth of experience in working with policy makers, research organisations, OEM’s, Academia and Technology companies to form effective collaborative partnerships.

James has formed strong working relationships within the CAV community and is passionate about supporting our partners, developing UK capabilities and most importantly servicing our customers future mobility needs. He has also supported CCAV, Innovate UK, Meridian and The Department for International Trade by representing UK CAV initiatives at several International events including ITS World Congress. 

Prior to his engagement with Addison Lee, James has represented Telefonica O2, The Home Office and British Aerospace on a variety of critical communications projects.
